Interim Spanish Teacher

Waldorf High School of Massachusetts Bay (WHS) is seeking a part-time Interim Spanish Teacher (grades 9-12), for immediate hire. This is a temporary position with the potential for long-term employment. Hours for the position are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 10:15 am – 2 pm; Friday: 10:15 am – 12 pm (no classes on Wednesday).

WHS is a full member of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and is accredited by AWSNA and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). As well, we are members of the Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). We are an independent school for grades 9-12 in Belmont, Massachusetts, 20 minutes from downtown Boston, easily accessible by train or bus.

WHS’ mission is to provide a Waldorf secondary education both to students who are continuing their Waldorf education and to students finding Waldorf education for the first time. We serve students from Boston and surrounding suburbs and are committed to diversity, academic excellence, the arts, and the growth of adolescents toward lives of curiosity, creativity, compassion, and courage.
